ALEXANDER SLOTNICK is from Virginia Beach, VA, and now lives in Washington, D.C. His fiction, essays, and interviews have previously appeared in The Sewanee Review, The White Review, Meridian, and The Distance, among others. He holds a BA from Columbia University and an MFA in fiction from the University of Virginia.
